I created this film to show the great nature of the Rocky Mountains and establish myself as a creative storyteller. I was inspired to create this film from simply looking out my window into the woods across my street. I wanted to show something with the value of past trauma and self conflict.
Dante Grimshaw, a troubled college student haunted by the childhood loss of his parents, lives in constant fear of the woods outside his apartment. Though dismissed as trauma-induced hallucinations, Dante is convinced that a masked figure responsible for his parents’ deaths still stalks him from the trees. As his paranoia worsens, his therapist is brutally killed in the same woods, confirming Dante’s deepest fears. Driven by grief and a need for answers, Dante ventures into the forest to confront the entity. After a violent encounter, he appears to defeat it, only to discover that the force within the woods cannot be destroyed.
